Jens Eisert and Berlin

We're thrilled to share that Jens Eisert is formally joining Iceberg as an advisor.

Earlier this year, we opened our first overseas office in Berlin, now one of our three locations alongside Sydney and San Francisco. We chose Berlin for the people: the opportunity to build a team around an exceptional core of Alex Townsend-Teague, Armanda O. Quintavalle and Marcel Hinsche, all of whom came out of Jens' research group, and the remarkable concentration of quantum computing talent in Berlin that Jens has played such a big role in building.

Jens is one of the world's leading quantum information scientists, with foundational contributions across an extraordinary range of topics. Beyond his track record, anyone who's met or worked with him will know that he has an unusual ability to remain deep in the weeds at the frontier of so many different areas, and that he's one of the most passionate and enthusiastic researchers around.

Many of us at Iceberg have worked with Jens over the years, and we're grateful to be able to continue working together at such an exciting moment, sharing our vision to invent and discover at the frontier of quantum computing. Much ahead.
